Alishiri: China to Host Iran Investment Opportunities Forum
Behrouz Alishiri, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs, announced the holding of Iran Investment Opportunities Forum in China, concurring with the holding of exhibition to introduce China investment capacities in other countries on November 2 and 3 this year.
As reported by the Department of Public Relations, Organization for Investment, Economic and technical Assistance of Iran, Alishiri continued by saying: The fields of discussion in the investment forum include sectors energy (oil and gas), mineral materials, industries and manufacturing sector with advanced technologies, infrastructure projects, harbor and dock construction, hotel construction, touristic areas, monetary and finance sectors, environmental industries as well as energy reducing industries.
Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance also pointed out: Concurrent with this forum, the second exhibit of China Investment abroad will be held, aiming at exploring new and appropriate opportunities for China’s investment  abroad, especially in emerging markets such as Iran.
Based on Alishiri, China is a main investing country which is the third biggest economy  of the world, having a favorable economic situation and stable macro economy, based on World Bank reports.
He highlighted participation of Iranian projects owners in the said forum and added: entrepreneurs and owners of investment projects can have face to face talks and exchange of ideas with their foreign counterparts in specialized panels to introduce their projects, enjoying expert legal consultation of  the experts of Organization for Investment, Economic and technical Assistance of Iran.
Alishiri invited chambers of commerce across the country, private sector firms, business people and entrepreneurs, for attending this forum, to introduce their scratched projects by filling in the forms or to make their applications    through the website  of Organization for Investment, Economic and technical Assistance of Iran at  or  not later than September 27, to be submitted to foreign investors.
Deputy Minister of Economy, regarding the economic privileges of Iran, the attempts made by the government for improving the business environment, enthusiasm and desire of private sector to have an active role in the business environment of the country, expressed hope that these forums pave the way for attraction of foreign investment to the country.
