In the meeting of the head of the Geneva Diplomatic Circle with the ICCIM Vice-President of international affairs was emphasized on the expansion of economic relations without regard to political issues.
According to the report of ICCIM Public Relations, "Mehdi Fakheri", ICCIM Vice-President of international affairs also pointing to the trend of the commercial exchanges of Iran said: "Before revolution, European countries were the main trading partners of Iran; but now East-Asian countries and the neighboring countries have the highest share of trade with Iran.
He pointed to the formation of the joint chambers of many European countries in Iran and said, "Switzerland-Iran joint chamber has been established from 5 years ago in Geneva, But unfortunately this joint chamber has not had much activity while this chamber must increase its bilateral cooperation in the fields of Energy and Technology.
Fakheri added, "The joint chambers must be the connecter of the developing of trade relations among countries."
He asked for the membership of the Swedish big company in the Switzerland-Iran joint chamber and stated, "The 80 percent of this chambers members are the SME (small and medium enterprises)".
Fakheri added, "We must develop the training cooperation through the joint chambers. The chamber of commerce, as the representative of private sector, supports the commerce and economy and we prefer to expand the trade relations away from politics."
"Mr. Bolum", the head of the Geneva Diplomatic circle also announced the dispatching of a trade delegation on February 2011.
Finally Bolum pointed to the world economic development and said, "we must expand the trade relations between two countries and don't attention to political issues."
