Mr.Ghasemi added that the project for producing polypropylene pipe and fittings will provide employment, and result in technology transfer to Iran and will also promote the quality level of domestic products and meet some of the needs of the domestic market".
According to our reporter the Council had other approvals and is determined to raise investment levels and to extend several investment licenses which are expected to lead to rise in exports and more job opportunities
It needs to be mentioned that the Foreign Investment Council of I.R. Iran is comprised various officials of I.R. Iran including the Vice President for Strategic Affairs, the Foreign Exchange deputy of Central Bank, a Deputy Foreign Minister and the Head of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce. The meetings of the Council are led by the Vice Minister of Economics and Finances of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the President of the Organization for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETA).
