Head of ICHHTO: Our Top Priority is to Encourage Foreign and Domestic Investors
The Vice President of I.R. Iran and the head of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) said: "encouraging foreign and domestic investors to invest in Iran's tourism sector is still our number one priority".

According to the Public Relations Department of the Organization for Investment, Economic & Technical Assistance of Iran (OIETAI), citing the IRNA News Agency of Iran Mr. Ruhollah Ahmadzadeh Kermani the Head Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) said: "in this line, various mechanisms are on our agenda such as the establishment of the required infrastructures in special and model tourism areas nationwide, the technical and credit assistance or the yearly budget lines allocated for this purpose".

Referring the creation of infrastructures such as the provision of water, roads and gas in the special and model tourism areas of Iran, he said: "now that such important infrastructures are in place, investors can easily come an invest in them".
Mentioning  that the President of Iran himself  has always emphasized the allocation of cheap and subsidized facilities to all investors, Mr. Kermani said: "such incentives will continue until the end of the tenure Iran's 10th (and current) government and the government will continue to encourage investments in tourism sector of Iran any way possible. We will also try to ease the legal procedures so that investors can start work as soon as possible. Of course, we expect all other relevant organizations of the country to do the same thing".
the Head Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) went on to say: "development of tourism plays an important role in the economic development of the country, therefore, helping and encouraging investors by any means necessary has always been our first priority".
