He reiterated that "today Iran's Ministry of Road and Urban Development and all its sections and department are completely ready to cooperate with foreign investors and facilitate foreign investments in any way possible and good steps have been taken in this regard".
Conceding the fact that state-run companies need to pay their debts to the private sector, Mr. Nikzad said: "the government of Iran knows better than before that it is not possible to develop the country without the contributions and participation of the privates sector".
Referring to the massive participation of entities from the private sector in the exhibition he noted: "this shows that they are paying special attention to this matter. The Ministry of Roads and urban development and all its sections including ports, air fleet, roads, housing and other relevant sections stand fully prepared to collaborate with the privates sector.
Earlier last month Mr. Sadeghi the Deputy Minister of Road and Urban Development said: "100 investment opportunities valued at around 70 billion euros have been identified in the field of road and transportation. Actually, some of the projects are being financed by the government but foreign and domestic investors too have been invited for many other projects ".
